Experience
Mark spent 37 years in various operational and corporate roles at Emerson. Most recently, he was Executive President of the $12 billion Automation Solutions platform, dedicated to the $200 billion+ automation market covering process, hybrid, and discrete end markets. Prior to this, Mark spent five years managing corporate development and strategy, deploying ~$7 billion in capital across 28 acquisitions. He also spent the last eight years of his career as a member of the Office of the Chief Executive.
Throughout his career, Mark has been a champion of automation, intelligent devices, control systems, and software that not only improve individual processes but also contribute to creating a more efficient, sustainable, and interconnected industrial ecosystem. His expertise in converting data into valuable information for enhanced performance, reduced downtime, and improved sustainability measures has been instrumental in reshaping the industry.
Education
Mark holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BMSE from Kettering University (formerly GMI Engineering and Management Institute).
