Whit Knier is a Partner in Healthcare Services, focused on behavioral, veterinary, and outsourced clinical services. He joined the firm in 2024.

Experience

Whit has more than two decades of experience in investment banking. He has advised on a variety of healthcare transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, leveraged buyouts, and restructuring.

Prior to joining Solomon Partners, Whit was a Managing Director in the Healthcare & Life Sciences group at Harris Williams. During his 13-year tenure at the firm, he executed 45 sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions and strategic advisory assignments, representing over $18.3 billion in total transaction value across the healthcare industry.

He began his career at Lehman Brothers and previously worked in Blackstone’s M&A group.

Education

Whit earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University.
