Experience

Jeff Jacobs is a Partner, Head of M&A and COO of Investment Banking, as well as Head of the Fairness Opinion Committee. He joined Solomon Partners in 2010.

Jeff has more than 25 years of experience advising clients on a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions.

  • Wilshire on its (i) acquisition of XTP; (ii) acquisition of Lyxor U.S. from Amundi; and (iii) launch of Wilshire Indexes and strategic partnership with SGX group and the Financial Times

  • CC Capital and Motive Partners on their acquisition of Wilshire Associates
  • Hudson’s Bay Company on its sale of Lord + Taylor to Le Tote

  • Caesars Acquisition Co on its defense related to the Bankruptcy of Caesars Entertainment Operating Co

Prior to joining Solomon Partners, Jeff served as a Vice President in the M&A group at Citigroup.

Education

Jeff holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BS in Communications from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
