Experience

Jon Hammack is a Partner and serves as Head of Healthcare, focused on medical devices and outsourced services. He joined the firm in 2021.

Jon has over 20 years of healthcare investment banking experience and specializes in advising clients in the medical device and outsourced services sectors. He has advised boards of directors and special committees as well as companies on a broad range of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, restructurings and capital raising solutions.

Prior to joining Solomon Partners, Jon was a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he spent eight years leading and expanding the firm’s medical device and outsourced services sectors. Before Moelis, Jon was a Managing Director and Head of Medical Technology at Morgan Stanley.

Over the past two decades, Jon has advised on numerous key healthcare transactions with total transaction value over $100 billion.

Education

Jon holds a BS from the University of Washington and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
