Role

Kent Fisher joined Solomon Partners as a Senior Advisor for aerospace and defense in the Industrials group in 2022.

Experience

Kent spent 25 years as an aerospace executive in critical leadership roles with The Boeing Company, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. He oversaw the Finance and Business Operations organizations and was responsible for the financial management, strategic and long-range business planning, and operations of the $32 billion enterprise.

Previously, Kent was Vice President of Corporate Development for The Boeing Company where he led the enterprise group executing large mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, equity investments, and strategic partnerships to further the company’s growth strategies.

Earlier he served as Vice President and General Manager of Supplier Management at Boeing Commercial Airplanes. In that role, Kent was responsible for the overall strategy, contracting, daily management and development of Commercial Airplanes’ supply chain across five continents.

During his tenure with Boeing, Kent also held leadership positions in Supply Chain Strategy, New Airplane Business Development, Market Analysis, Air Traffic Management, Sales, and Customer Financing.

Before joining Boeing, Kent held various positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers in its litigation and bankruptcy consulting group.

Education

Kent earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Pomona College and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
