Role

Vinod Chandiramani is Partner and Head of Capital Advisory which comprises Solomon’s Financing Advisory and Capital Transformation & Debt Advisory groups. Vinod advises clients on financings, recapitalizations, liability management and capital transformations which may include comprehensive balance sheet restructuring. He joined the firm in 2024.

Experience

Vinod has nearly 20 years of experience including advisory and principal investment activities focused on financing transitional capital or special situation opportunities, liability management, restructuring, divestitures and acquisitions. Most recently, Vinod worked at Greenhill & Co., serving as a Managing Director in the Financing Advisory and Restructuring group which he joined in 2018 as a part of a strategic investment in that advisory expertise. Prior to Greenhill, Vinod was an investment professional at Marblegate Asset Management and Octagon Credit Opportunities, and an investment banker in the Debt Advisory and Restructuring Group at Rothschild & Co and Acquisition Finance Group at Bear Stearns & Co. Vinod has represented companies, creditors, investors or participated in transactions involving more than $400 billion in liabilities or invested capital across an array of sectors.

Vinod holds an MBA, with Beta Gamma Sigma honors, from the New York University Stern School of Business and a BA from the University of Michigan.
