Experience

Tannon has been a trusted partner to clients in the financial services industry for over 25 years, having advised on a variety of noteworthy transactions representing over $250 billion in combined deal value. Tannon works with clients across multiple sub-sectors of financial services, including financial technology, banking, specialty finance, asset management and capital markets companies as well as private equity and other alternative investment firms on their most important strategic and corporate finance matters including mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, financing transactions and restructurings.

Prior to joining Solomon Partners, Tannon was a Senior Managing Director at Evercore, where he helped lead the firm’s financial services advisory practice. Before Evercore, Tannon served as a Managing Director and Head of Banks for the Americas at UBS. Tannon previously was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he spent over a decade after starting his investment banking career at J.P. Morgan.

  • Fiat Chrysler on its North American auto finance strategy
