Faiz Vahidy is a Managing Director in Financial Institutions focused on advising insurance distribution companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, divestitures, fairness opinions, strategic planning, and other corporate finance engagements. He joined the firm in 2025.

Faiz has over 20 years of experience in financial services, covering insurance distribution companies including MGAs, MGUs, IMOs, and FMOs. He has successfully executed a wide variety of transactions for insurance carriers, insurance services providers, and insurtech companies.

- PHP Agency, a tech-enabled field marketing organization (FMO), on its sale to Integrity Marketing Group
- Orion180, a tech-focused MGA in homeowners’ insurance, on a credit facility to meet its capital needs for underwriting growth
- USA Financial, a tech-driven wealth management platform (RIA / BD) and an independent marketing organization (IMO), on its sale to AmeriLife Group
- RetireUp, an insurtech platform providing retirement income illustration solutions, on its sale to Tegra118 (InvestCloud)
- Special committee advisory and fairness opinion to Graham Company, a leading insurance and benefits broker, on its sale to Marsh McLennan Agency
- Annexus, a leading fixed income product designing and marketing firm, on its sale to Integrity Marketing Group
Prior to joining Solomon Partners, Faiz was a Director at Houlihan Lokey where he advised insurance-related companies on M&A, capital raising, and other corporate finance engagements. His career also included time at Beekman Advisors, where he developed corporate valuation frameworks, evaluated strategic alternatives, and consulted on benchmarking and performance measurements for companies working in real estate, mortgage finance, affordable housing, and related sectors. Previously, Faiz worked for Hovde Financial and Milestone Advisors, where he was responsible for evaluating the financial and strategic options of financial institutions, performing financial analyses and valuations of banks and thrifts, and assessing the impact of national and regional trends across the financial services industry.
Education
Faiz earned an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a BBA from the George Washington University. He holds Series 63 and 79 licenses with FINRA.
