Austin brings a comprehensive understanding to clients across the commercial and residential services landscape, advising on complex solutions and transformative transactions. He has a track record of guiding companies in areas such as commercial technical services, commercial soft services, built-environment white collar services (including specialty consulting, environmental consulting, compliance, inspection and other white collar services) and residential route-based businesses. Austin partners with owners and leadership teams of founder-led, private-equity-backed and public companies to craft tailored strategies that maximize long-term value creation and optimize exit outcomes, all while navigating evolving market conditions.
Prior to joining Solomon Partners, Austin worked at XMS Capital Partners for five years, focusing on M&A, strategic advisory, and financing alternatives for public and private companies across a broad range of industries. He has completed transactions with an aggregate value of over $15B across sell and buy-side M&A and capital raising transactions. Austin began his career in J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, advising ultra-high net worth families, institutions, and endowments.
