Solomon Partners’s Retail Group is serving as exclusive financial advisor to the Special Committee of Stein Mart on its announced sale to Kingswood Capital Management and Jay Stein. Stein Mart is a national retailer offering designer and name-brand fashion apparel for him, her and kids, as well as home décor, accessories and shoes at everyday discount prices. The company operates 283 stores across 30 states.
The Solomon Partners team was led by Co-Head of Retail, David Shiffman, and includes Managing Director Jeff Derman, Chris Moynihan, Andrew Connolly and Cameron Chiarelli.
