Marina Barskaya is the Director of Events and is responsible for event strategy, planning and implementation. She joined the firm in 2023.
Experience
Prior to Solomon Partners, Marina was Senior Event Planner in the Office of the CEO at American International Group (AIG). She was responsible for event strategy and leadership for both internal and external events across the company. With over 15 years of experience, Marina brings an extensive record of event planning and expertise in the field. Before joining AIG, she spent eight years at Invesco, Ltd (f.k.a. Oppenheimer Funds) managing all aspects of special events and conferences. Marina began her career in the fashion industry at John Varvatos, Inc., focused on special events, PR and retail marketing.
Education
Marina holds an MA in Public Administration and Non-Profit Management from New York University and a BA in Marketing & Communications from the University of Pittsburgh.
