Anders Maxwell to Moderate CFA Society of NY Panel with Ed Altman, Creator of Historic Bankruptcy Predicting Formula

Managing Director Anders Maxwell will be among five featured speakers at the CFA Society of New York’s “50-Year Anniversary of the Z Score” investor panel and commemorative event.

Created in 1968 by renowned NYU finance professor, Ed Altman, the Altman Z Score has been used as a key bankruptcy predicting tool.

On May 29, 2019, the CFA Society of New York will host a conversation with Professor Altman, who will provide an historic backdrop and assessment of the formula’s usefulness in today’s financial markets. The event will also feature a panel Q&A discussion moderated by Anders Maxwell, a long-standing member of Solomon Partners’s Debt Advisory & Restructuring Group.
