Last week, Solomon Partners and Natixis sponsored a private company panel at EnerCom’s Oil & Gas Conference® in Denver, CO.

The panel brought together executives from three companies that each had high profile and lucrative divestiture events and have now moved on to the next iteration of their respective company, including: Austin Akers, CEO of Bison Oil & Gas, Ward Polzin, CEO of Camino Natural Resources and Bill Lancaster, President of GMT Exploration. The panelists shared their divestment perspectives on how private capital has become a growing part of the market today, lessons learned from the first iteration and what’s next for each of their companies.

Solomon Partners Director Brendan Matthews facilitated the panel. Mr. Matthews is part of the firm’s Houston-based Energy Group.

The 2018 Oil & Gas Conference attracted more than 100 companies and 1,800+ attendees who learned about important energy topics effecting the global oil industry over four days.
