Jorge Mora is a Vice Chairman of Solomon Partners. He joined the firm in 2026.
Jorge is focused on business development and strategic client initiatives. He works closely with the firm’s leadership to advance the firm’s priorities and support its long-term goals.
Jorge has over 30 years of experience in private equity and corporate advisory. He has spent much of his career leading financial sponsor coverage practices and advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies across a broad range of industries. Jorge’s clients have included One Equity Partners, Blackstone Inc., Court Square Capital Partners, Francisco Partners and TowerBrook Capital Partners.
Prior to joining Solomon Partners, Jorge was Co-Managing Partner at Jacmel Partners. Before Jacmel, he held senior leadership positions at Macquarie Group and Lazard Freres & Co., where he led their financial sponsor coverage practices. Earlier in his career, he was a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank and The Exxel Group, after beginning his investment banking career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

Jorge holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the University of Miami.
