David Buza

David Buza is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Solomon Partners. He joined the firm in 2022.

David brings more than 20 years of experience leading tech-driven transformation and business performance improvements to his role as Chief Technology Officer. Prior to Solomon Partners, David made his first foray into Investment Banking as the Global Head of Technology and Programs at UBS Investment Bank. At UBS he led a complete redesign of the investment bank’s technology and processes–from pipeline and revenue to expenses and document management. As Managing Director, Technology Strategy and Transformation at MUFG Union Bank, David created a strategic change roadmap and redesigned the technology investment process to better align tech initiatives with measurable business outcomes. Most recently, David held the Chief Technology Officer position for a private-equity-backed healthcare services business where he implemented new cloud-native digital products that generated significant additional revenue and expanded the company’s client base in the employer market.
