Cristian Karaoglan is a Director in Healthcare. He joined the firm in 2022.
With more than 15 years of financial services experience, Cristian advises clients in the nuclear medicine, radiopharmaceutical, contrast media and diagnostic imaging, and specialty and generic pharmaceuticals industries. He works with public and private companies on transactions involving acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic combinations, including mergers, joint ventures and minority investments.
Prior to joining Solomon Partners, he worked in the Healthcare and groups at TAP Advisors for nearly four years.
Over the past decade, Cristian has advised on numerous key healthcare transactions. He has worked with leading companies including Lantheus, Curium (Mallinckrodt Nuclear Medicine), GE Healthcare, Pharmalogic, SOFIE, BWXT Medical, and Alora Pharmaceuticals.

- Lantheus on the sale of its SPECT business to SHINE Technologies, the sale of its Somerset facility to Perspective Therapeutics, and its acquisition of Evergreen Theragnostics
- Niowave on its non-dilutive financing
- SOFIE Biosciences on its significant growth investment from Trilantic North America
- ARTMS on its sale to Telix Pharmaceuticals
- PharmaLogic, a portfolio company of Webster Equity Partners and MedEquity Capital, on its acquisition of Agilera Pharma AS
- GE HealthCare on its acquisition of the remaining 50% stake in Nihon Medi-Physics
- Osmotica Pharmaceuticals on its legacy product portfolio acquisition by Alora Pharmaceuticals
- Rakuten Medical on its Series D financing
- BWXT on its Asia-Pacific joint venture with GMS

Cristian holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business and a BA from the University of Virginia.
